BISP New Payments Resume from Today After Two-Day
Good news for families across Pakistan! After a two-day break, payments under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) have officially resumed from today, 14th April 2025. The pause happened due to the weekend holidays, but now the process is back on track, and people can start collecting their money again.
Quick Info Table
Program Name | Start Date | End Date | Assistance Amount | Application Method |
---|---|---|---|---|
Benazir Kafalat Program | April 11, 2025 | Ongoing | Rs. 13,500 | Offline (camp sites) |
Benazir Taleemi Wazaif | April 11, 2025 | Ongoing | Rs. 1,500 – 4,500 (per child) | Offline (BISP office) |
Where Have the Payments Restarted?
The first phase of payments started on 11th April, and it included 104 districts from all over Pakistan. Due to the two-day weekend break, the payment process had paused temporarily. But now, from today, payments in those 104 districts have resumed.
If you’re living in one of these districts, you can visit your nearest BISP camp site and collect your payment. Just make sure to carry your original CNIC and that it’s not expired. Without a valid CNIC, payments won’t be given. Also, it’s a good idea to have your registered mobile number with you, in case they need to verify anything.

Which Programs Are These Payments For?
Right now, BISP is releasing payments for two major programs:
Benazir Kafalat Program
This is the main financial assistance program under BISP. Women who are eligible receive Rs. 13,500 as part of the quarterly installment. This time, there’s no increase or extra bonus—just the regular payment for the Jan–April quarter.
Benazir Taleemi Wazaif
Mothers whose children are enrolled in the Taleemi Wazaif program are also getting payments for their kids. These payments cover 6 to 9 months of pending stipends. So if your child is registered and going to school regularly, you’ll get their amount too along with your own Kafalat payment.
How Can You Receive the Payment?
The payment method is pretty simple and offline:
-
Visit your nearest BISP camp site (set up in your district).
-
Carry your original CNIC.
-
Make sure your SIM is registered in your name (to receive verification SMS).
-
Complete the biometric verification.
-
After that, you’ll receive your cash.
One important thing: if your CNIC is expired, you won’t get paid until it’s renewed. So check the expiry before heading to the center.

What About the Second Phase of Payments?
Now the big question: what about the rest of the districts that were not included in this first phase?
So far, BISP hasn’t officially announced the date for the second phase. However, based on past schedules and sources, it’s expected that the second phase will begin in the first week of May 2025. This second phase will include all the remaining districts where payments haven’t started yet.
Once the current payments in the first 104 districts are completed, the next round will begin. We’ll update this as soon as BISP makes an official statement.
Are Double Payments Being Given This Time?
There’s a lot of fake news circulating on social media that BISP is giving double installments this time. Let’s clear that up: No, BISP is not giving any double payments. If someone tells you that, it’s false.
Scammers often spread such rumors to trick people or collect money by pretending to offer help. Please don’t fall for this and always follow official updates from BISP or trusted sources only.
Taleemi Wazaif: Full Breakdown
Here’s a rough idea of how much you can get through the Taleemi Wazaif program depending on your child’s education level:
Level of Education | Boys (Rs.) | Girls (Rs.) |
---|---|---|
Primary | 1,500 | 2,000 |
Secondary | 2,500 | 3,000 |
Higher Secondary | 3,500 | 4,000 |
There’s also a special one-time bonus of Rs. 3,000 for girls who successfully complete primary school. That’s a nice incentive to support their education.
To get these payments, make sure your children are enrolled, going to school regularly, and registered under the program.

How to Check Your Status Online?
Even though the payments are given offline, you can still check your eligibility and payment status online or via SMS:
-
Send your CNIC number to 8171 via SMS.
-
Or visit the BISP 8171 Web Portal and enter your CNIC number to check the status.
This helps avoid unnecessary travel if you’re not eligible or if your payment isn’t ready yet.
Final Thoughts
The restart of BISP payments is a huge relief for many low-income families in Pakistan. With inflation high and jobs scarce, these payments really help people manage daily expenses and keep their kids in school.
In this article, we’ve shared all the real, updated, and practical info you need—whether it’s about payment dates, districts, program details, or how to receive your money. If you follow the correct process and avoid rumors, there should be no issue.
If you still have questions, you can visit your local BISP Tehsil office or call their helpline.
